F-Gas Regulations ...
The European Union's F-gas Regulations became law on 4th July 2006, users of F-gases are required to follow a series of Inspection, Monitoring and Reporting procedures for the UK’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry.
If you have stationary Refrigeration or Air Conditioning systems then you must prevent and repair any leakage of F-gases, these include all HFC’s which are used in refrigeration and air conditioning and are linked to global warming.
You must ensure that all recovery of refrigerant /gases is completed by certified personnel. Where you have leakage detection systems fitted on large systems these must be checked on an annual basis.
Air Resolve engineers are fully qualified in Safe Handling of Refrigerants and are registered with Refcom.
